Introduction

The bike ride begins at the back of Tivoli Park in the direction of Sint-Katelijne-Waver. This park features a castle and its outbuildings -- including a coach house and living quarters for the gardener and warden. Back in 1802, the castle belonged to a Mechelen brewer’s family. The Tivoli garden is considered a miniature “English Garden”.
